Privacy Policy

The Short Version
Mopscotch runs entirely on your device. We don't collect your data because we have no server to send it to. There is no account, no sign-in, and no sync of any kind.
What Mopscotch Stores, and Where

What Leaves Your Device
Nothing, unless you choose to send it. When you export a route PDF, a client statement, a CSV file, or a full backup, your device's own share sheet asks where that file should go — that choice is entirely yours. When you send a payment reminder, Mopscotch hands the pre-filled text to your phone's own messaging app; the app itself never sends a message on your behalf.
The One Exception: In-App Purchases
Buying or restoring Mopscotch Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play Billing, not by us — that's the only network request the app ever makes, and it's between your device and the platform you bought the app from. We never see your payment details. Everything a purchase unlocks then works with no connection at all.
What Mopscotch Does Not Do
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking of any kind.
- No crash-reporting service that phones home.
- No advertising SDKs, and no ads are shown.
- No device or advertising identifiers are collected.
- No account, so there's nothing tied to your name, email, or device identifier on any server we run — because we don't run one.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties, because no data is collected from you in the first place.
Permissions Mopscotch Requests, and Why

None of these permissions are used to collect data about you — they exist solely to provide the feature you enabled.
Children's Privacy
Mopscotch is a business tool for adults operating a cleaning business. It is not directed at children, does not knowingly collect information from anyone, and has no features aimed at a younger audience.
Deleting Your Data
Settings → Delete All My Data erases every client, visit, photo, template, and payment record from your device immediately. It requires no connection, no account, and no request to us — because we hold no copy to delete on our end. Uninstalling the app has the same effect. A Pro purchase belongs to your Apple or Google account rather than to your on-device data, so it survives either action, and Restore Purchases will find it again.
Backups
Because your data lives in the app's normal on-device storage, it's included in your device's own backup (iCloud or your Google account) if you have that turned on — a setting entirely within your control, not something Mopscotch configures.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the "Effective date" above will be updated and the new version published at this same URL.
